The Anamosa Library & Learning Center is seeking applications for a Library Clerk. The position is part-time, up to 35 hours per week. Evening and weekend work required (Tuesday-Saturday work week). This position offers pro-rated benefits, including health, vision, and dental insurance.
Reporting to the Director, this position oversees all aspects of library technology. The position is responsible for the technology infrastructure in the library and maintaining technology operations, including, but not limited to, computer networking and coordinating with contracted computer consultants. The position maintains technology and other electronic equipment for library staff and all technology for public use. The position performs front line tasks related to circulation of library materials and patron customer service including, but not limited to, readers’ advisory, reference assistance, and helping patrons locate library materials. This position provides consistent, courteous and sincere customer service to patrons and library staff at all times.
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Customer service experience and strong technology background preferred.
