Using the Library During RAGBRAI
RAGBRAI is coming to town next week! Due to the sudden increase of guests in our community, the library will follow these procedures on Thursday, July 29th:
Masks required in the building regardless of vaccination status
Appointments required for library use
Library usage will be by appointment only on Thursday, July 29th. A library staff member will be stationed at a table outside the library front doors to sign people up for appointments. Appointments will:
- Begin on the hour every hour (10 AM – 6 PM)
- End 10 minutes before the next round of appointments begin
If you arrive after the appointment time begins, you can still take an empty slot. There are 20 available appointments per hour. Appointments cannot be made days in advance.

You will be able to enter and exit through the emergency door in the community room and pay at the table outside the library’s front doors.
